THE EVALUATION PROCESS IS COMPLETED IN THREE APPOINTMENTS
(typically 45-60 minutes)
A Provider will meet with you during the intake appointment to gather history, observe, and better understand concerns. Some intake appointments can be virtual upon request.
Following this appointment, you will be scheduled for testing.
(approximately 3-5 hours and sometimes broken up into two appointments)
For the evaluation, you will complete a number of different psychological tests with one of our (licensing board approved) psychological technicians or post-doctoral fellows. The time for testing depends on age (younger children typically take less time), but can range from 2 to 5 hours.
Standard tests include: IQ, academic screener, ADHD measures, emotional self-reports (depending on age), and for children under 18, additional parent reports are included.
*If Autism is suspected or a concern, additional time will be added to your appointment. This measure is generally about 45 min.

The Feedback appointment is scheduled anywhere from 4-8 weeks from the date of the Psychological Evaluation depending on our current client workload.
In this appointment, your Provider will explain all the testing results, review the psychological evaluation report with you, answers any questions you may have, and provides a plan and resources for treatment.
